What a section looks like

Late pickup

Pick a wording, fill in your fee and grace period, or write your own. The handbook, the contract and the signed copy all use the same words.

Texas, California and Florida sections show the rule number and a link to the official text, with the date we checked it.

What you get

One job, done properly: a handbook and contract you wrote yourself, in your own voice, that parents read and sign before day one.

A handbook from your answers

Twenty-five policy sections, each with two to four plain-English wordings to pick from plus room to write your own. Hours, tuition, late fees, sick-child rules, medication, emergencies, release of the child, discipline, naps and safe sleep, and more. Written at a 6th to 8th grade reading level, in your voice ("we").

The licensing rule beside each section

For Texas, California and Florida home daycares, the checklist lists every section the state's licensing rules ask your parent policies to cover, shows the rule number and links to the official text. It tells you which sections you have not answered yet. Other states use a core section set and a banner saying their rules are not mapped yet. We do not sell to North Carolina.

A contract for every family

Add the child's name, start date, schedule, tuition and registration fee once. The contract is built from the handbook version you published, so the two never disagree. Export as PDF or Word.

Parents read and sign online

Each parent gets a private link, reads the full document on their phone, types their name and agrees. You get a signature certificate showing who signed, when, which version and a SHA-256 fingerprint of the document. No printing, no chasing paper.

Refreshed every year

Each year you start next year's version from last year's answers. When a state's rule pack changes, we tell you which sections changed, and you can send every family the new version to re-sign in one click.

Free to start

Free gets you the whole builder, the checklist with its rule citations, the preview, one family and one parent signature request, and a PDF with a "Free version" footer. The Provider Pack is $49 a year for unlimited families and signature requests, clean PDF and Word files, a citations appendix, the yearly refresh and rule-change re-sign. No monthly plan, no trial, no coupons.

Frequently asked questions

No. Daycare Handbook and Contract Builder is document-assembly software, not a law firm. It is not a substitute for the advice of an attorney. It is not affiliated with or approved by any state licensing agency. Rule citations show which licensing rule a section relates to, as checked on the date shown; they are not a statement that your documents meet that rule. Your licensing agency decides that, and an attorney can advise you.

Texas, California and Florida home daycares get the rule-cited checklist. Every other state except North Carolina gets the same builder and exports with a core set of sections and a notice that we have not mapped that state's licensing rules yet.

No. The wording options are written by us in advance. Your document is a fixed assembly of the options you pick and the facts you enter, so the same answers always produce the same document.
